I’m Angel Arenas, a proud senior at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, on the verge of graduating with a bachelor's in Graphic Design and media with a emphasis in Photography, along with a minor in Art History. My journey into the world of design began in 2019, and (let me tell you) it's been one heck of a ride ever since!

I was about fourteen years old when I knew that I wanted to be in a creative field but I was always conflicted on which direction that would take me. A painter? A photographer? A set designer? A graphic designer? It was always difficult for me to narrow down, because each artistic venture offered something different and exciting. As I've delved deeper into my studies, I discovered a passion for photography and graphic design—specifically, maximalist and bold design filled with bright colors and the nostalgic flair of retro cartoons. I find the current corporate lean into simplistic and minimalistic designs and colors to be repetitive and as a designer I want to shake up the status quo of both the graphic design and photography worlds.
